The Australian Made, Australian Grown Campaign behind the famous green and gold logo is a not-for-profit organisation that authorises companies to use the logo and assists consumers in exercising their preference for buying Australian. The Campaign promotes the logo in Australia and increasingly also in export markets.
Founded in 1999, the Campaign continues to attract attention from consumers, business and media. The number of licensees joining the Campaign is increasing at a record rate and consumer trust in the logo is unmatched.
The Australian Made, Australian Grown logo is Australia’s most widely used and best known country of origin symbol, with 98% recognition domestically and rapid growth in awareness internationally.
The logo clearly establishes that a product is Australian and thereby enables businesses to capitalise on the consumer goodwill associated with being Australian. It is the centrepiece for a major collective effort by business to promote Australian manufacturing and Australian products and produce to the world.
Based in Melbourne, the Campaign has representatives in most states and works closely with a wide range of industry organisations and government bodies such as Austrade.
Only products registered with the Campaign may carry the logo. To learn more about logo and the rules governing the use of it, please click here.
