Reflex Office Papers

Reflex® is the most recognised brand of office paper in the Australian market and is proudly made in Australia at the Maryvale Pulp and Paper Mill located in Victoria’s LaTrobe Valley by Australian Paper. Following its launch in 1984, Reflex® was the first office paper in the world to be advertised on television and has since established a succession of commercials based around the famous message “Always Rely on Reflex”. Reflex® quickly became a household name and is now the leading Australian brand of office paper. Over the past 28 years, the Reflex® offer has grown to include a range of products including Reflex® Unwrapped, Colours, 50% Recycled, 100% Recycled and Carbon Neutral. More recently a new range of Reflex® stationery products were also introduced including Envelopes, Exercise Books, Binder Books and Suspension files. Australian Paper is the only Australian manufacturer of office, printing and specialist packaging papers and the largest private employer in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley. Thousands of people rely on Australian Paper for jobs and whole communities rely on the flow on effect those jobs provide. Over the last 70 years, Australian Paper has have invested significantly in every area of our operations to ensure the delivery of the highest quality and most environmentally sound products; and they are constantly looking for ways to improve. Australian Paper is proudly holds the Australian Forestry Standard (AFS) certification. This certification confirms that the fibre used in the manufacture of office paper products, including Reflex® is sourced only from sustainably managed plantations and forestry operations. The AFS is the only standard in sustainable forestry management that is recognised by Standards Australia® and is also globally recognised by the PEFC, the world's largest sustainable forest management certification system.
