Muesli Slice

A sweet offering full of natural Aussie goodness, this muesli slice has a crunchy-snap texture and will complement a cuppa at any time of the day or night. 

Feel free to add some dried fruit to make it even tastier!

 

Ingredients
125 grams butter
2 ½ cups Get Farmed! Natural muesli
¼ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ cup honey
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ cup self raising flour

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees (160 fan-forced)
  • Line or grease a slice tray
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and then add the honey and brown sugar
  • In a separate bowl combine flour, muesli and spices
  • Once the butter mixture has come together and the sugar has disolved, add it to the dry ingredients and mix well
  • Transfer mixture to slice tray and press into corners
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown
  • Slice while still warm and in tray - it will be soft to the touch
  • Stand for ten minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely
