Australian Made Coats fit for a Queen

Southern Cross Country, an Australian Made family business which produces waterproof vests, has been a licensee since 2003 and has proudly seen a Southern Cross Country coat worn by HRH The Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.

“The recent photo of Princess Mary in one of our red Traveller jackets is a testimonial to word of mouth as it was the new Ambassador Sharyn Minahan to Denmark who knew about our Tasmanian/Australian coats and chose it as a gift for Princess Mary and bought one for herself too,” explained co-founder Anne Bowden.

Southern Cross Country is an award winning family business, co-founded by Michael and Anne Bowden who moved to Tasmania in the early '90s. With no prior manufacturing experience, Anne & Michael built from scratch Southern Cross Country which is now a company well known for its integrity and beautifully made garments.
