Australia's reputation for swimwear has been compared to Italy's reputation for shoes and Michael Yarwood believes this allows Busywear to thrive due to an understanding of beach culture, design, fit and the need for superior quality.

“We are one of the very few Australian Made swimwear companies and people see Australia as a beach culture and the perception reinforces the significance of having swimwear as an Australian Made product.”

Since a report on A Current Affair championing the fact that The Busy Group remain one of the very few designer brands made in Australia, Michael Yarwood says they been “flooded by international enquiry for more of our quality designed and manufactured swimwear to go overseas. This year we made a push into the US market and will be following through with that next year when we will take up residence in the US under a visa for 6 months and we will be part of G’Day LA in January 2008.”
