The Australian Made Campaign is encouraging shoppers to choose locally made and grown products and produce when celebrating Easter this weekend.
“For many Australians, Easter is about time spent with friends, family, or local community over a meal or a cuppa, and we encourage Australians to choose the local options available to them when shopping for those occasions,” Australian Made Campaign Chief Executive said.
“Whether its fresh fish and veggies for Good Friday, or chocolate eggs for Easter Sunday, shoppers can be sure that if they buy Aussie, they can count on great quality products, and produce grown with their wellbeing in mind,” Mr Harrison said.
Australia has some of the highest health and safety standards and regulations in the world for the way we treat foods both in growth and preparation, which is why the nation’s reputation for quality is so strong.
The easiest way to identify genuine Australian products and produce is to look for the green-and-gold Australian Made, Australian Grown (AMAG) kangaroo logo.
The AMAG logo is the only registered certification trade mark that labels a product as authentically made or grown in Australia.
