The Aussie Man Hands journey started back in 2016 when Jake, a plumber from Canberra, got a nasty infection through a cut in his hand and nearly lost his arm. But Jake got lucky. The docs worked their magic and his arm was saved, but they left him with an important message:

“Take better care of your hands Jake!”

“Don’t risk this happening again Jake.”

Jake of course, paid no attention. He was in his truck and off to the next job. His partner Belinda was beside herself with worry so she bought every available hand repair cream on the market and Jake rejected them all... 'too greasy', 'too heavy' or 'smells like nanna.'

For Jake's mum Maree, the response was obvious – they’d have to nail their own!

Eight months of testing, tweaking and more testing with a Sydney pharmacy, led to the rippa natural ingredient formula that’s now soothing the dry, calloused, rough as sandpaper hands of tradies across Australia.
