Ready to replace your plastic bottle of Shampoo?
This bar of soap, with Tallow, is specially designed to shampoo your hair, is handmade, and replaces your shampoo in a plastic bottle!
How: Just lather it up in your hands and rub into your hair. Or you may like to rub the soap directly on your hair and create a rich lather.
Want to know a secret? you can even use this for your body, so it’s really a two in one bar. It will last much longer than your shampoo in a bottle as it is a solid bar and is not made from mostly water like bottled shampoo.
If you have been using commercially bought shampoo for a period of time, please allow for an adjustment period in using this shampoo bar for your hair.
How to condition your hair. There are a few options to try to condition your hair:
1. Use conditioner if needed.
2. Some people choose to use an Apple Cider Vinegar (the vinegar) rinse on their hair.
For Dry Hair:
Mix 2-3 teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar in 1 cup of distilled water
For Normal Hair:
Mix 5 teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar in 1 cup of distilled water
Mix this up and place in a spray bottle for easy application. If you feel this is not strong enough or too weak, then keep adding/reducing the vinegar to change the ratio as needed.
(place in a spray bottle, spray on your hair, leave for a few minutes, then rinse off, if you can it will be even better if you leave it on your hair and air dry).
There may be a transition period when moving from commercial liquid shampoos and conditioners, the hair may feel a little heavy for a few weeks, this is the normal detoxification process of your hair and scalp.
3. You may not need anything else on your hair to condition it, even the ACV rinse, - especially if you have short hair, our shampoo bar is sufficient.
Ingredients:
Triple rendered Beef Tallow, Olive oil, Coconut Oil (certified organic & fair trade), Sweet Almond Oil, Lye (Sodium Hydroxide), Purified Water, Lemongrass, Rosemary, Peppermint and Lavender Essential oils, or solely Lemongrass oil.
(PUFA free, Palm Oil free, Paraben free, Sulphate free, Petrochemical free, SLS & ALS free, Propylene Glycol free, Triclosan free, EDTA free and free of harsh detergents!)
Each bar weighs approximately 100g, but as it is hand-cut the shape and appearance may be irregular.
