Aussie Made donated to families at Ronald McDonald House

Supporting local has never been more important than now, and Aussie businesses continue to lead by example this holiday season.

Twelve generous local businesses donated their Australian Made products to be included in 50 “welcome pack” boxes that were gifted to Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania (RMHC) this week.

RMHC VIC & TAS is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that provides vital resources for families with seriously ill children. The dedicated team at RMHC VIC & TAS work to provide furnished bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, play areas, and laundry and pantry facilities to the families of children staying at nearby children’s hospitals.

Chief Executive, Ben Lazzaro, said that that Australian Made Campaign (AMCL) greatly values the opportunity to support such a worthwhile charity, and to champion the idea of supporting local with Australian Made products.

“We’re very thankful to all the local Australian Made businesses who got involved in donating their products for the families staying with RMHC. It’s a fantastic example of the Aussie spirit of supporting one another, especially those who are going through difficult times.”

AMCL has adopted a room at Ronald McDonald House North Fitzroy at Casa Elda Vaccari since 2020. To further support this incredible charity, each year AMCL works closely with local businesses to put together 50 “welcome pack” boxes for guests who stay at the North Fitzroy House.
