Australian Made Campaign Ltd (AMCL) held its annual general meeting (AGM) in Canberra on 1st December, at which two members of its Board of Directors were re-elected.

Re-elected Directors were Australian Made’s Chairman Allyn Beard and Treasurer Paul Jensen.

AMCL’s national Board consists of up to ten Directors, elected by the organisation’s 11 Governing Members – the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, its network of State and Territory Chambers, and the National Farmers’ Federation.

The board members following the AGM are:

  • Allyn Beard (Chairman), Director, A.H. Beard Pty Ltd
  • Nicki Anderson (Deputy Chairman), Company Director (ASX, Private Family, Not for Profit)
  • Paul Jensen (Treasurer), Chairman, Watarrka Foundation
  • Kate Carnell AO, Director, Beyond Blue
  • Fiona Simson, President, National Farmers Federation
  • Jim Sturgess, Managing Director & CEO, Crimsafe Security Systems
  • Andrew McKellar, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The Chairman expressed his belief that 2023 will be an exciting and eventful year for the Campaign. Over 4500 businesses are now using the Australian Made, Australian Grown logo on thousands of products sold in Australia and around the world.
