Mango and avocado salad

This mango and avocado salad is an easy go-to for a healthy dinner or the perfect addition to your family BBQ. 

 

Preparation time

15 minutes

 

Serves

4

 

Ingredients

2 handfuls of spinach 

2 handfuls of rocket

1 large mango sliced

150g walnuts

1 avocado sliced

Optional extras

1/2 cup bacon pieces cooked

1/2 cup Mil Lel shaved parmesan cheese 

4 tbsp caesar salad dressing 

 

Method

  • Slice the mango and avocado
  • Layer the spinach, rocket, mango and avocado on a platter or in a bowl and add the walnuts

If you're adding the extras

  • Fry off the bacon pieces until crispy
  • Add the cooked bacon pieces, parmesan and walnuts
  • When ready to serve, add the dressing and combine well
  • Enjoy!
