It is a new custom-built digital platform to highlight your products directly to engaged consumers. Designed to enhance the visitors' experience whether they are using their mobile phone, tablet or computer, the new website offers upgraded product browsing, search tools and security.
The new site also introduces new and improved tools to help you showcase your brand and your products.
The search engine profile of Australian Made website pages and the brand reputation value that comes from being affiliated with the Australian Made Campaign continues to be a valuable asset to Australian Made licensees.
The new Australian Made website, which is set to be visited by more than 100,000 shoppers every month looking to buy Aussie, has been optimised to drive more business to your Australian products.
What’s new?
The new site is integrated with social media and incorporates an all-new interface that is set to exceed consumer expectations and is optimised for high-resolution display that improves the visual experience.
Enhanced connectivity means more opportunities to feature where and how customers can find your products.
There is a new promotions panel on your company page where you can decide what to feature (products, sales material, promotions etc.) and the ability to make product info PDFs downloadable for shoppers seeking more information.
What you need to know
The 'go-live' is scheduled for the first week of September and the Australian Made website may be offline for up to 48hrs for the 'roll-out’ to take place.
The upgrade includes an improved password protocol in line with current consumer expectations and industry standards. When you log into the new website for the first time, if your current password does not meet the increased security standards, you will need to generate a new password with a minimum of 10 characters (at least one upper and lowercase letter and a number).
Images for your company and products pages may look a little different in the new website and could benefit from being replaced given the high resolution screen specifications of the upgraded site.
The new Australian Made website is just one of the opportunities available to you as an Australian Made licensee. There is no cost to licensees to be featured on the new site or to take advantage of the new tools.
What you need to do
Please go to your page and review the content; add, optimise and introduce new material like pictures, promotions, sales materials for download, links out to reviews, to your own websites and to resellers.
A major website upgrade such as this often has teething issues despite extensive and rigorous testing... you may find bugs that have not been ’squashed’ and if you do, please send details of them to info@australianmade.com.au.

Once the new site is ‘live’, the next step is a wide-reaching new marketing program to drive traffic to your business’s page on the Australian Made website.
