Australian Made partnered with the Australian Gift & Homewares Association (AGHA) to launch the first ‘Australian Made Pavilion’ at the Sydney Gift Fair, on 21-24 February 2020.

Held at Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney Gift Fair is one of Australia’s largest retail trade exhibitions and provides a trade-only platform for buyers and sellers in the industry to do business, acquire knowledge and network.

The ‘Australian Made Pavilion’ provided a dedicated space for local manufacturers to showcase their latest Australian-made products in gift, homewares, fashion, kids and toys, health and wellbeing industries.

The ‘Australian Made Pavilion’ was heavily promoted on social media throughout the Sydney Gift Fair, with Australian Made licensees highlighted as must-see exhibitors.

Australian Made Chief Executive, Ben Lazzaro, also presented a MasterClass to buyers, retailers and manufacturers, educating them on the benefits of using the Australian Made logo.

Mr Lazzaro said “Congratulations to AGHA on such a successful event. Australian Made really values its partnership with AGHA. Events like this allow Australian Made licensees to leverage the Australian Made logo effectively, to influence buyers and retailers.”

Australian Made welcomed AGHA as a Campaign Associate in November 2019, to support the growth of Australia’s gift and homeware manufacturing industry.

AGHA Gift Fairs are attended by key buyers from across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region. The next AGHA event will be the 2020 Melbourne Gift Fair on 1-5 August 2020 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Stay tuned for more information on how to get involved.
