The Australian Made Campaign (AMCL) is excited to announce its support for Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania (RMHC VIC & TAS) through the adoption of a room.
Located in the Ronald McDonald House North Fitzroy at Casa Elda Vaccari, Victoria, the Australian Made adopted room will provide accommodation for the families caring for a seriously ill child.
RMHC VIC & TAS is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing vital programs for families with seriously ill children. The Houses provide fully furnished bedrooms, communal lounges, kitchens, BBQs, play areas, a laundry and pantry to the families of seriously ill children, supporting them in their time of greatest need.
Ronald McDonald House North Fitzroy at Casa Elda Vaccari is home to up to 25 families whose children are receiving treatment at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, the Mercy and Women’s Hospitals. The children access treatment from every department in the hospitals, the most common service providers being oncology, cardiology, transplant, neonatal intensive care, respiratory and neurology.
AMCL is looking to further support RMHC VIC & TAS by providing Australian Made packs to guests of the Australian Made adopted room. The packs will be filled with products needed by families during their stay, including personal care items, clothes, towels, baby products, toys, books, hats, notepads, drink bottles, sunscreen and bags.
AMCL is reaching-out to licensees who wish the be part of an Australian Made hamper and donate Australian Made products to resident families.
