Australian Made Campaign is excited to announce its sponsorship of the Australian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. This sponsorship will ensure the Australian Made logo is prominently displayed in the gift shop in association with Australian Made logo user products and feature in a video on the Pavilions main screen. The overarching sponsorship has been designed to support and raise the profile of Australian makers and growers on the global stage.
Although delayed by 12 months, Expo 2020 Dubai will place a strong emphasis on collaboration and partnership, with 191 participating nations and a theme of ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’. It is expected the Expo will attract over 25 million visitors throughout its six-month period from October 2021 to March 2022.
In 2020, Horizon Consumer Science Research found 97% of overseas consumers have a positive first impression of the logo, with 72% becoming intrigued about the products once they saw the logo and 87% confident products carrying the logo are from Australia. Overseas consumers’ biggest motivations to buy Australian products are quality, reputation and ethical standards.
This activity is funded by a multi-year Federal Government grant designed to increase the international profile of the Australian Made logo and strengthen its legal position in key export markets.
