Harvestaire Header Sieves, Pre-Cleaners and Chaffers

Harvestaire have adapted replacement parts to suit Australian conditions, including sieves that eliminate wear on wires – all manufactured in our West Australian factory.

Our vast range includes: Top Sieves, Bottom Sieves and Pre-cleaners - with Standard or Air-foil Louvres. Harvestaire top and bottom sieves perform the same as originals, but have nylon bushes so they don’t wear out. The strong louvre design prevents distortion caused by weight of grain.

Air-Foil bottom sieves are virtually impossible to overload as the louvres do not deflect or close up under a heavy stream of grain as is frequently the case with traditional bottom sieves, particularly when they are worn. This makes normal sieves very difficult to adjust. It’s common to find the normal sieve either putting too much good grain in the repeats or letting too much rubbish in the sample.

Air-foil Top Sieves have a unique Louvre design that divides the airflow and creates a bed of air jets which floats chaff up off the surface allowing heavier grain to easily separate and fall.
